Welcome to the development of the novel written by Zorai, the creator of this roleplay website and developing systems.
The novel focuses on the beginning of the setting in which this system is based on, the inital events that play out, so reading it may be intresting to those looking to set theirselves up within the roleplay

The virus was dormant in Io for longer than human's have been around
If we can study "IO 230-9" it could change what we know about the universe itself, Just how long has this, a lifeform from another world existed.

New biological life was discovered on Jupiter's moon IO deep underneith a lavalake in the tunnels formed by thousands of years of movement lead researcher Tavra Ivana and her team uncovered IO 230-9 a silicate based lifeform that had exsited far longer than life on earth had been projected to have began. IO 230-9 was taken to the Lab aboard Dr Tavra's ship for study.
It was there that the downfall of Humanity was awakened from it's deep slumber IO 230-9
Dr Tavra's colleagues were quickly exposed to the virus, it was found that the ship's automated distress signal alerted Martian Syndicate ships after the last spark of life was snuffed out.
The people of Sol weren't ready for what happned, the virus from Io was picked up by a Martian Syndicate ship, the ship Arious One was quickly infested after it secured Dr Tavra's ship
